Lindsay Gilvin, mother of three, and FIT4MOM Franchise owner. Lindsay holds a BS in Health Fitness and Preventative Rehabilitation and a MS in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. She has more than 10 years of experience leading dynamic fitness classes in various formats and is currently certified as an AFAA certified Group Fitness instructor, Personal Trainer, and Kickboxing instructor, a TRX Group Instructor, Schwinn Indoor Cycling Instructor, and Stroller Strides instructor. I am thrilled for the opportunity to combine my passion for both motherhood and leading a healthy, active lifestyle! I started Stroller Strides when Dawson was 4 months old and was immediately hooked. I found a community that supported motherhood and made staying healthy themselves a priority. Mary McCarty is mom to 2 ½ year old Ryan. Mary has a Master’s in Business Administration from Centenary College, Hackettstown, New Jersey . She is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through AFAA and a Stroller Strides instructor.
I recently relocated to the Lexington, KY area and was excited to become involved in the Lexington Stroller Strides family here. I have been a participant in the program since my son was born participating in both the Honolulu and Tampa locations. I have a passion for fitness and for my family, and this program enables me to enjoy both these passions. I strongly believe in this program both for the fitness and support aspects they provide moms and families. Tina Olsen is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through American Council on Exercise and a Stroller Strides Instructor. She taught group aerobics classes for five years before having her son, Jude. Chelsi is the mom to 2.5 year old Chapman. She received her Bachelors of Science in Health from Union College where she also played Women's Soccer through her four years. After relocating to Lexington after her son he turned one, she discovered Stroller Strides and never looked back. She quickly became hooked on the workouts and the friendships that were being made. She is now a Fit4Mom certified instructor for Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre, and Fit4Baby and can't wait to see our village continually grow.more
Hannah Wathen is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise, CPR/AED certified through The American Heart Association, and a Stroller Strides Instructor. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Health Science as well as a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Shea is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise, a Stroller Strides Instructor, and CPR/AED certified through the Red Cross. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in Reading and Writing Specialist.
I am the mother of two boys, Maddox and Collier. I began attending Stroller Strides classes just after Collier turned one. I wanted to get in shape and wanted to be able to have my sons with me. Stroller Strides was a perfect fit! I instantly knew that this was a group I wanted to be a part of. I love how my boys view working out as a fun activity, and they've made great friendships with the other kids that come to class too. Fit4Mom is a huge part of our lives!
Brooke Whitis holds a Group Fitness Certification from the American Council of Exercise, as well as a Red Cross AED/CPR Certification. She has experience teaching bootcamps and spinning, and loves working with moms! Brooke is the sole woman in her home, married to her "awesome husband" and mother to two boys, three and four years old!
Kat Rector is the mama to Elijah (4.5) and Atlas(2.5) two spunky little boys and wife to David. Her desire for a healthy lifestyle came from wanting to be the best role model she could be for her boys. And to be able to keep up with her in shape husband. She first came to evening Stroller Strides classes with a family member and after one class she knew this was going to change their lives, and it has. Her background is in Business management and healthcare. Now she is a Fit4Mom certified instructor for Stroller Strides. She can not wait to meet each and every one of you and is excited about what the future holds as a Fit4mom Instructor.
Sarah Boerkircher is wife to Andrew and mama to Annabel (3) and Hank (1). She attended her first Stroller Strides class when Hank was eight weeks old and never looked back. Fast forward 10 months later and Sarah started participating in Body Back. Now a Fit4Mom super fan, Sarah realized the important role that Fit4Mom has played in her path in motherhood. … a path that is filled with friendship, well-being and fitness. She is very excited about this next step in motherhood as a Fit4Mom instructor and looks forward to supporting other mamas on their motherhood and Fit4Mom journey.
