Preview Class & Intro

Whew. Body Back is no joke. The free preview class was Wednesday night and I am sore, tired, excited, and determined all at the same time. This eight week session is going to be life-changing, I’m sure of it. Workouts, meal plans and ideas, food journals, daily motivational words, and encouragement from other mommas in the same boat as me. But let me back up and let me tell you how this all started…

I’m 29 years old, 5’4” {on a good day}, and have two boys-- Jude {2} and Benji {4 months}. They are my joy, and my reason to work hard. I want to be fit and confident as their mom and that is pushing me to do my best.

Currently I am a Stroller Strides instructor with Fit4Mom and have thoroughly enjoyed my tribe. My village of moms and babies. Fit4Mom has several programs, but Body Back is the adventure I’m embarking on with a small group of brave women. Body Back is a results-based workout designed specifically for moms— we will be focusing on personal possibilities in an inspiring and powerful environment.

And let me tell you, Wednesday's preview class was definitely a powerful environment, and I left inspired to work harder, eat better, and encourage others to do the same.

Throughout the next eight weeks, I will be documenting my experiences with the workouts- my struggles, my successes, and thoughts on the program. Check back here every Thursday starting next week for recap on the first week, complete with before photos and how the first two workouts went.
